Delete your account

Permanent and free. Takes less than a minute.

Heads up: Deleting your account is permanent. Your email, preferences, scan history, favorites, chat history, and all personal data will be removed from our systems within 30 days. This cannot be undone.

Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)

The quickest way is to delete directly from the Nivra app on your iPhone:

If you no longer have the app installed, or can't access your account for any reason, email us and we'll process your request manually:

What about my subscription?

If you have an active Nivra Pro subscription, deleting your account does not automatically cancel it. You must cancel separately through Apple:

This ensures you're not charged for a subscription tied to a deleted account. Apple handles all subscription refunds directly — contact Apple Support if you need a refund.

Backups and retention

We keep encrypted backups on a rolling 90-day window. After deletion, your data is removed from live systems within 30 days and fully purged from backups within an additional 90 days, per industry standard practice.

Anonymous crash reports and aggregate analytics contain no personal information and may be retained indefinitely for product improvement.

Changed your mind?

If you're deleting because of a bug or missing feature, we'd love to hear why first. We might be able to fix it. Email hello@trynivra.app before deleting and we'll respond within 24 hours.

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. If you want to use Nivra again in the future, you'll need to create a new account from scratch — your previous scans, streak, and history cannot be recovered.
